Electric Boat Corp. has won a $9.6m contract with the U.S. Navy.
The contract calls for the Groton, Conn.-based ship builder to perform alterations to the USS Texas submarine as part of an add-on contract, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. The project is expected to be completed by February 2008. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair for the U.S. Navy, based in Groton, commissioned the work.
