ALGAE-X International announced its distribution agreement with Mastry Engine Center based in St. Petersburg, Fla. Mastry will be distributing the ALGAE-X Magnetic Fuel Conditioners and the AFC-705 Fuel Catalyst. Mastry is the Yanmar Engine Distributor throughout the Southeastern U.S. and the Caribbean. Mastry services customers directly as well as through a dealer network of over 180 locations. Rick Myrick, Mastry's Parts Department Coordinator, plans to integrate ALGAE-X Fuel Conditioners into the fuel systems for new engine packages, and to retro fit ALGAE-X units into existing engine installations for Marine, Power Generation, Trucking and Transportation, Construction, Mining, Agriculture, and other applications. ALGAE-X Technology improves and maintains the quality of diesel fuel, hydraulic oil and other distillate fuels, and prevents tank sludge and clogged filters. Benefits of ALGAE-X technology include: Improved combustibility of the fuel, which provides more efficient engine operation, extended injector life, reduced fuel consumption, lower emissions, and elimination of carbon deposits; and More reliable filtration systems with longer fuel filter change intervals, and less tank maintenance. The results include significant improvement in fuel economy, with a dramatic reduction of emissions and lower overall operating costs.
The orderbook for U.S. dredgers is about $3B, and according to DCA CEO Bill Doyle, the incoming political administration could help this niche maritime sector continue its bull run.
