Latest US Department of Defense Contracts
Included in the latest list of US Department of Defense contracts are those for a USACE Mississippi River dredging operation, and a Navy contract for the phased maintenance of the 'USS San Antonio'.
Dredging contract:
Conti Enterprises Inc., Lincoln Highway, Edison, N.J., has been awarded a $44,828,475 firm-fixed-price contract for a resilient features, west bank and vicinity, hurricane and storm damage risk reduction system for Mississippi River levee, English Turn Bend to Belle Chasse, WBV-MRL 4.2, Plaquemines Parish, La.
Estimated completion date is Dec. 2, 2015 and the contracting agency is the Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La.
Ship maintenance contract:
General Dynamics NASSCO-Earl Industries, Portsmouth, Va., is being awarded an $11,398,788 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the USS San Antonio (LPD 17) phased maintenance availability.
This contract will support miscellaneous structural and mechanical repairs. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2014.
The Norfolk Ship Support Activity, Norfolk, Va., is stated to be the contracting activity (N50054-14-C-1401).
