Dellner Brakes will present a global product range at this year’s Inland Marine Expo (IMX) in St Louis, bringing together power transmission products from its U.S., Swedish and German operations for the very first time.

This global product offering follows on from the Swedish company’s acquisition of U.S. brake and clutch specialist Gummi USA in September 2017 and German braking manufacturer Pintsch Bubenzer in January this year.

Dellner Brakes CEO, Marcus Aberg, said, “We are delighted to be exhibiting alongside our new sister company Pintsch Bubenzer for the very first time at IMX. This recent acquisition is facilitating major global expansion for our business. Coupled with our continued expansion in North and South America, which is being driven by our Dellner Gummi USA operation in Houston, Texas, we are making great strides towards realizing our ambition to become the world’s leading supplier of brakes and related power transmission products.

“We are looking forward to welcoming customers and media to our stand at IMX to see our expanded product range and find out more.”

The products on show will include Gummi USA-branded drum shaft brakes, reduction gear clutches, torsional couplings and rotary unions as well as technologically advanced braking solutions such as Dellner Brakes’ groundbreaking ‘stopping, turning, locking’ (STL) system and the Pintsch Bubenzer patented BUEL electro hydraulic thruster.

To support the company’s expansion in the Americas, Dellner Gummi USA has recently appointed a new sales representative for South America, Alejandro Ortiz, and will soon be further expanding the team at its Houston base with the appointment of an in-house design engineer.
