Packman 23 Delivered

The National Park Service has taken delivery of this Packman 23 ft. high-performance landing craft, designed and built by the William E. Munson Company. Used as a maintenance workboat for the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area in California, the unit has a 2,500 lb. load capacity and standard 52 in. wide bow door allowing for easy transportation of heavy equipment to remote work sites. Additional outfitting includes a console T-top with large aluminum rain roof, upholstered leaning post-seat, forward console storage locker, push knees, beaching wear plate, 75 gallon under deck fuel system and galvanized bunk trailer. Power is supplied by a single 115 hp Honda four-stroke outboard providing a 35 mph top speed and 25 mph cruise burning fewer than eight gph. The Packman's deep vee hull and wide forward chines are specifically designed to support weight forward cargo in rough water operations.
