New Rig Wash Cleaner Degreaser Now Available

According to the manufacturer, Rig Wash is the only bioremedial cleaner degreaser awarded the Gold Standard by CEFAS, the center for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science. The U.K.'s most diverse applied marine science center, they help to shape and implement policy through internationally renowned science and collaborative relationships that span the EU, U.K. government, nongovernmental organizations, research centers and industry.

RigWash can be used for cleaning all surfaces, including all metals, rubber, plastics, acrylic, chrome and plated finishes and painted surfaces without fear of warping, etching, weakening or corroding. It also acts as a dispersant and causes no damage to aquatic life. One major benefit to oil and gas operators is the fact that product comes in a highly-concentrated liquid form so unlimited quantities can be stored on board, eliminating frequent supply runs.

The product utilizes bioremedial technology to "eat” grease, oil and hydrocarbons off any hard surface by using naturally occurring, harmless microorganisms with specially formulated bio-surfactants that degrade hydrocarbons. As a result, waste management costs are greatly reduced.
