The year’s MAST NOCO 2019, which takes place at the same time as the Northern Coasts (NOCO) 2019 multinational naval exercises, will be the biggest military equipment exhibition and conference ever held in Denmark.
Participants and exhibitors from over 40 countries regularly take part in the MAST events. This year’s event at the Copenhagen Bella Center is expected to draw more than 3,000 maritime professionals, including chiefs of navies, defense ministry and procurement officials, defense operators, technologists, scientists, and industry representatives from all over the World. MAST NOCO 2019 features three days of keynote and plenary addresses from top level international military and government officials, as well as technical presentations on a broad range of topics key to global naval, air and space operations and technologies.
The NOCO 2019 exercise will take place in the Baltic Sea and adjacent waters September 3-18, 2019. The commander of the German Navy is the exercise coordinator, supported by the Danish Navy. During the NOCO port stay in Copenhagen, a series of formal working meetings and pre-sail conferences will take place. More than 30 ships from an expected 16 nations will be berthed in central Copenhagen Harbor just 10 minutes from the Copenhagen Bella Center. The ships will be open to public every day, and the MAST conference participants will have access to the ships for specially arranged visits and tours, thus becoming an integral part of the MAST conference and exhibition program.
VIPs are expected from more than twenty nations and there will be numerous opportunities – especially for sponsoring organizations – to engage with these influential stakeholders within the confines of the event areas and at the numerous organizer-arranged social functions.
The MAST Technical Conference Committee (TCC), a team of highly respected senior-level leaders from government, research & development, academia and industry, will be arranging and coordinating the conference. The TCC is involved in every stage of the conference paper solicitation, selection and delivery process, and managing abstracts.
