The US Coast Guard has established two temporary safety zones each with a radius of 500 meters around two independent submerged turret loading buoys of Excelerate Energy’s Northeast Gateway Deepwater Port in federal waters of the Atlantic Ocean approximately 13 nautical miles south-southwest of Gloucester, Massachusetts. All vessels, other than liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers and their support vessels, are prohibited from entering the safety zones. 73 Fed. Reg. 1274 (HK Law).
