Cortland Cable Company announces their certification to the ISO 9001:1994 Quality Systems Standard – Model for Quality Assurance in Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Servicing. The Quality Management System at Cortland Cable Company was independently assessed and certified to the ISO 9001 standard by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Certification Inc., which is an internationally recognized and certified Registrar Accredited Board (RAB) third party registrar of Quality Management Systems. Located in Cortland, NY, the Cortland Cable Company engineers and manufactures electro-mechanical cables and synthetic rope solutions that are lighter, stronger alternatives to steel for applications “On, Under, and Out of This World.” John Stidd, President of Cortland Cable Company and Chief Executive Officer of The Cortland Companies, states “Our ISO 9001 certification is a major step in achieving our overall goal of providing every customer a custom engineered product that is of the highest quality and meets their needs in any application.” “We are also pleased to note that all three of the Cortland Companies are now ISO certified.
