BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair Awarded Contract

BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $27,947,320 cost-plus-award-fee contract for drydocking selected restricted availabilities and selected restricted availabilities for CG 47 Class ships homeported and visiting Norfolk, Va. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by August 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $27, 947,320, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet, with three offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-06-C-4415).
