October 31, 2011

Corpro Systems Ltd., a member of international oilfield services organisation Reservoir Group, has been awarded a significant coring contract in Eni, the largest Italian energy company.

The contract is the third commercial project to be carried out by Corpro since it opened its Scandinavian facility in late 2010 and will include coring and various on-site services related to coring, for exploration wells offshore Norway and activity in upcoming production wells in the Barents Sea. Work will also commence on the already spudded Marulk exploration well. The value of the contract will depend upon the volume of core extracted during the forthcoming jobs. Tor Magne Madsen, Corpro Norway’s country manager, said: “I am delighted to announce this latest contract win, continued evidence of our excellent reputation and commitment to the region. With the volume of work that is involved, we can proudly say that we have firmly established Corpro in Norway.

“This contract is acknowledgment our innovative coring technology, and Corpro will work hard to ensure that it gives its full commitment to the project, running the jobs from Norway with the full support and experience from the Corpro team in Aberdeen.” From 36 bases stretching five continents, Corpro is a formation evaluation service company, delivering value to exploration and production companies by focusing on the core. From acquisition of the core, to identification and formation evaluation, Corpro has developed innovative products and services including special core analysis, interpretation of core analysis data, and correlation to complementing downhole measurements.
