Troy Container Announces Atlanta / Singapore / Hong Kong Leg
NVOCC Expands Presence in South Atlantic Market; Adds Ninth New Service in 2013.
Troy Container Line, one of the world’s largest American-owned NVOCCs, has announced the launch of new, direct services from Atlanta to Hong Kong and Singapore. The weekly service to Singapore will commence with a maiden voyage out of Charleston on the MOL Proficiency 50w on September 21, 2013. Troy Container Line’s first, weekly Atlanta to Hong Kong service is slated for September 25, 2013 on the Zim Onterio V.021w, also out of Charleston. The company’s COO of exports, Patricia Fitzgerald, spent several months tailoring the services for the South Atlantic region and was instrumental in bringing this new offering to market.
With nearly 30 years of industry experience, Troy Container Line continues to make strides as a leading NVOCC adding nine new services in 2013 alone. The company’s new South Atlantic sailings will support clients’ logistics needs with faster transit times and competitive rate offerings. In addition, from the ports of arrival in Hong Kong and Singapore, Troy Container Line clients will have access to 300 additional on-carriage destinations in the Far East.
“The entire Troy team is pleased to see these services come to fruition,” commented Patricia Fitzgerald, COO of Exports. “Every day, we strive to provide the utmost in personalized service to a growing international customer base. In this trade lane, we can now provide the most competitive rate advantages and transit times in the industry, and look forward to bringing Troy Container Line’s long-standing tradition of service to the South Atlantic region.”
With the new Hong Kong and Singapore services, and the recent addition of Atlanta-based sales representative Cindy Barnett, a sales and logistics professional with strong ties to the local community and the ability to directly cater to regional clients’ needs, Troy Container Line will continue to pursue opportunities in the South Atlantic market.
