NACE international is pleased to announce a new marine track for its annual conference, CORROSION/2007 to be held March 10-14, 2007, in Nashville, TN.
Highlighting the marine track will be a special International Marine Coatings Forum on Tuesday, March 12, 2006. This panel type discussion forum will bring together prominent leaders from the Marine Industry representing shipbuilders, regulatory agencies, owners, and users. This forum will examine significant issues facing marine coatings personnel such as regulatory changes and new IMO specifications. Increased commercial pressures on ships in service with regards to corrosion control; specifically ballast tanks, fouling control, and invasive specie infestation will also be addressed. An open discussion with participants will help establish industry’s response to these dramatic changes including current and future training requirements.
