The Combatant Craft Detachment (CCD) of the Carderock Division, a field engineering organization of the Naval Sea Systems Command, has announced that a forum focusing on Department of Defense and government boats and craft will take place June 19-21 at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base. The Multi-Agency Craft Conference (MACC), sponsored by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Army's Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM), fosters mutual understanding between military, government and commercial firms. This year's theme is "Acquisition Solutions." Invited keynote speakers include Brigadier General James M. Feigley, Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command, and Captain John S. Kamen, U.S. Special Operations Command. Also invited are Captain Dana Goward, U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, and Colonel Samuel M. Cannon, the U.S. Army Project Manager for Force Projection.
