Alaska – Expansion of Compulsory Pilotage Proposed

 

The Alaska Department of Commerce, Community & Economic Development issued a Public Notice stating that it proposes to amend the regulations relating to compulsory pilotage.  The Proposed Amendment, if adopted, would further expand the waters more than three nautical miles off the coast of in the and the in which compulsory state pilotage would be required.  Comments on the proposal must be submitted by April 14.
