Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT) for final delivery of eighth Landing Craft Tank (LCT) vessel built by Anadolu Shipyard (ADK) completed satisfactorily.

The eighth vessel (TCG Ç-158) LCT will be ready to be delivered on August 29th 2012, having completed its Sea Acceptance Test.

ANADOLU Shiphard has already delivered the first seven vessels of the LCT project (TCG Ç-151; TCG Ç-152; TCG Ç-153; TCG Ç-154; TCG Ç-155; TCG Ç-156; TCG Ç-157) between March and July 2012.

The shipyard points out that LCT program will be completed on time as planned 37 months after the start of the project, adding that this is the first Turkish Navy project undertaken by a so-called a privately owned shipyard, to be completed on time.
