Unique Wellube Complete Offshore 'Hot Tap' Project
Unique Wellube successfully completes 28" to 58" Hot Tapping Project for Chiyoda Almana Engineering in the Middle East.
Unique Wellube FZC (UWFZC) , a Unique Maritime Group Company which is one of the world’s leading integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solution provider is pleased to announce the successful completion of Qty 3 off 28” Class 150 RF Hot Tap on 58” ASTM A358-304L Pipeline for Madina Group WLL and Chiyoda Almana Engineering LLC (CAEL). The end user for the same is RAS GAS.
First Tap was a mock up performed in Madina, Doha Workshop on 5th August 2012 by Greg Hunter & Mario Abobo. Second and Third Hot Tapping was performed on a live Gas Line inside Ras Gas premises [Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar] on 12th & 13th September by Mario Abobo & Michael Easthope. Train 5 was performed on September 12th and Train 4 on September 13th, 2012. Qty 3 off 58” x 28” x 58” Class 150 RF Stainless Steel Extruded Hot Tap Fittings for the subject job were manufactured by our USA Manufacturer as per ASME 31.3 standards.
