The Hudson Group announced its agreement with Morris Environmental Inc., a Texas-based company engaged in emergency management, oil spill resource, tracking, crisis management solutions and cutting-edge response software.
Morris Environmental is well known in the maritime industry for its ability to support a client’s Incident Management Team with staff and equipment to assist with incident information management through the development of computerized contingency plans. Morris builds and maintains high-resolution maps and detailed incident response planning information in high-risk areas around the world.
The maps and data are maintained in a computer-based geographic information system (GIS), the entire system of which is portable and is used to support emergency response operations, exercises and plan development – either remotely or on-scene. Clients around the world use these plans to respond more effectively to emergency situations.
Morris Environmental has already been called in for assistance in Brazil, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Russia, Libya, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Colombia and Venezuela. Clients have utilized digitized information such as threat exposure, equipment availability, personnel locations, wind data, current studies and environmental sensitivities for accurate incident management.
