Crowley Marine Services Announces ISO/ISM Certification

Crowley Marine Services has achieved certification of more vessels under the ABS joint ISO/ISM quality and safety management program than any other tug and barge operator in the Americas. Crowley's extensive West Coast Harbor Services, Oil Transportation and Contract Services fleet and shoreside facilities together with its East Coast Contract Services, RoRo barges and Venezuela operations have been certified under the ABS joint ISO/ISM certification process. In addition to the ABS certification, Crowley has met all qualifications for the AWO Responsible Carrier Program certification. The ISO 9002 and ISM registration indicates the company's vessels, facilities and staff have met the rigorous international codes of quality and safety management standards. Crowley has certified more than 60 vessels and facilities.
