Hann Launches New 32' Catamaran

Hann Powerboats, Inc., Sarasota, Florida, announces the launch of its new Blue Lightning 32 Catamaran by Hann.

 

The new addition to the Hann Powerboats line of center console boats continues the tradition of fast, fuel efficient, stable hull designs. The new catamaran has a 10 foot 2 inch beam, with a LOA of 32 feet. It draws 23 inches and comes standard with twin Mercury Optimax 300 HP engines. In its initial sea trails the boat showed a top speed of 73.3 MPH in a sea state 2, burning 52 gallons of fuel per hour. The Hann 32 settled into a comfortable cruise speed of 65 MPH, with a fuel burn rate of 39 gallons per hour.

 

This Hann 32 Catamaran serves as a family entertainment platform. Whether you want to get in a little fishing before the Saturday soccer game, or your want to join the club rendezvous after the game, this boat will get you there on time. If you are serious about fishing, you have to see this boat. The boat his a nice storage cutty forward, four deck lockers, a large compartment in the center console, a bolster helm seat, and a 25 gallon bait well centered at the transom. Forward of the center console there is room for your friends, a fish locker, and a cooler. The deck coaming holds both lighted drink holders and rod holders. The large T-top provides ample shade around the center console. The transom swim platform and ladder make it easy to use the boat as a dive platform. With the dramatic blue lighting around and under the boat, and the standard stereo system, this boat is the center of attention anywhere it goes.

 

Hull number one is already sold and will live in Lynnhaven Inlet, Virginia Beach, VA. Boaters in the Norfolk and Chesapeake Bay area will enjoy watching this new boat. However, with some deck modifications this boat will service as a fast patrol boat, or crew transport vessel. Hann Powerboats does have the ability to add ballistic protection to any of its boats from 18 feet to 50 feet.
