AMSEC Wins Carrier Deal
AMSEC LLC, Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $62,633,357
indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification
for mission essential engineering and technical services for carrier engineering
maintenance assist team. Work will be performed in Newport News or Norfolk, Va.
(40 percent); San Diego, Calif. (30 percent); Bremerton, Wash. (20 percent);
Jacksonville, Fla. (5 percent); and other areas including outside the United States
(5 percent), and is to be completed by June 2005. Contract funds will expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured
through the Federal Business Opportunities and Navy Electronic Commerce On-line
sites, with two offers received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk is
the contracting activity (N00189-01-D-0290-P00011)
