Crowley Marine Services announced today that Elizabeth Caporelli will join the company's ship assist and escort services group as Manager of Tug Dispatch in Southern California.
Caporelli will be domiciled in Los Angeles and have responsibility for
Crowley's day-to-day commercial tug operations in Los Angeles/Long Beach and
in San Diego. She will be handling customer service, marketing data
collection and analysis, and maximizing fleet utilization.

Vice President and General Manager, Ship Assist and Escort. "Our customers
will enjoy working with her as she brings a wealth of knowledge and energy
to the job."
Caporelli graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. degree
in resource development. She has worked in various marine related positions
including acting as Marine Project Coordinator for Raytheon Polar Services,
which performed scientific offshore research in Antarctica on behalf of the
US National Science Foundation. In addition, Caporelli has worked for the
University of Southern California's Wrigley Institute for Environmental
Studies, and the Bermuda Biological Station for Research.
Caporelli is a published author of a number of scientific papers on marine
environmental issues and she holds a U.S. Coast Guard masters 100-ton,
near-shore coastal license.
