December 21, 2004

Autoship Systems Corporation sold its CAD/CAM software to Herma Shipbuilding, Inc. of Quezon City, Philippines.

Herma's installation of Autoship Pro, Autopower, Autohydro Pro, Autoplate and Autostructure and Production Manager is for two dedicated users across a network platform. AutoPlant, a 3D Piping program from ASC partner firm, Bentley Systems, Inc., was also installed with direct integration into Autostructure.

Herma Shipyard provides shipbuilding, ship repair and ship conversion services. It is a member of the Herma Group, which provides petroleum, maritime and environmental services.

The choice of the Autoship System for Herma Shipyard went through an extensive search for a suite of programs that met three main criteria:

1. integrated functionality of all CAD/CAM operations for a modern day shipyard engineering processes,

2. quality technical support, training and industry acceptance,

3. favorable pricing, terms and trustworthiness.

As Mr. Jose Manuel R. Quimson, President of Herma Shipyards commented, "After reviewing the major marine software suppliers, we chose the proposal made by Autoship System based on a detailed in-house demonstration made at our offices and our President's visit to the Autoship offices in Vancouver. Their naval architecture and ship production suite from our standpoint is the easiest-to-use and most technically advanced package available for projects of our size."
