Argentina Seeks Tenders for Two LNG Cargoes

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

June 11, 2014

Argentina has launched a buy tender for two liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for delivery in late-July and mid-August, respectively, into its river terminal at Escobar, trade sources said.

The tender seeks to fill out Argentina's gas needs for its winter period.

State-run YPF launched a tender for six cargoes but only managed to secure four of them a month ago, and traders expected it to re-tender for the remaining supply.
