SCC Meetings Announced

The Shipping Coordinating Committee, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, will conduct two meetings. On March 23, it will meet in Washington, DC to prepare for the next session of the IMO Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC). Items on the agenda include recycling of ships; prevention of air pollution from ships; and anti-fouling systems. The second meeting, also on March 23 in Washington, DC, will present the results of the recent Diplomatic Conference on Ballast Water Management. (HK Law).
