PRISCO to Get New Series of Aframax Tankers

On May, 22 the building of a new tanker for PRISCO begun at Hyundai Heavy Industries (South Korea). It is the head ship of the series of 6 ships of 100 thousand tons deadweight. The ships will be named after Far-Eastern bays, reports in the company. It is scheduled that the tanker will be delivered to the customer in January 2008. All vessels of the series will be built during 2008-2009. The named Aframax tankers will have the ice class 1С, the classification of DNV. Source: FIS
