Totem Plus to Offer Naval Dome's Cyber Solutions
Totem Plus is to offer its customers Naval Dome’s cyber defence solution as a supplement to its PC-based navigation and automation systems, following the September signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the cyber security specialist. The two Israel-based companies began cooperating last year when the Naval Dome solution was used to protect the Totem Plus ECDIS, IMAC (Integrated Monitoring, Alarm & Control), VDR and BAM (Bridge Alert Management) installations aboard a 5000TEU containership.
Totem Plus to Supply Automation and Navigation Systems
Totem Plus has been awarded a contract to supply a full package of Automation and Navigation Systems for a new series of Modern Bulk Carriers. The 55800 DWT ships will be built by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) in Korea, with the first ship scheduled to be delivered by mid 2012. The Automation package is based on the Integrated Monitoring Alarm and Control System (IMACS), supplied to over 100 ships by Totem Plus.
Totem Plus Partners with ECDIS to Revamp Training
