Moose Boats Bags Order from Westar Marine
San Francisco Bay boat designer and manufacturer Moose Boats said it has been awarded a contract to construct multiple 75-foot semi-displacement USCG Subchapter-T passenger catamarans for Westar Marine Services in San Francisco, Calif. The first vessel will commence production in the spring of 2017. The aluminum catamarans will be equipped with Twin Volvo D13 turbo diesel engines with Volvo IPS3 drives, achieving a service speed of 25 knots and exceptional close quarters maneuverability.
Moose Boats is Keeping Busy
U.S. Moose Boats, a boat designer and manufacturer in the San Francisco Bay Area, announced two recent vessel deliveries: a M2-35 Catamaran Patrol Boat to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office in Carnelian Bay, Calif., and a M2-38’ 3,000GPM Fire Rescue Catamaran to the Bellingham Fire Department in Bellingham, Wash. The builder has received an additional order to build a M2-38 Catamaran CBRNE Emergency Response and Recovery Vessel for the New Bedford Fire Department in Massachusetts.
Moose Boats Delivers 2 Patrol Boats
Aluminum boat manufacturer Moose Boats announced the delivery of two patrol boats. The builder delivered a M2-38’ Patrol Catamaran to the United States Park Police in Fort Tilden, New York, as well as a M2-38’ Wide Cabin Patrol Catamaran to the New Jersey State Police in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The U.S. Park Police’ all aluminum catamaran is powered by twin 425hp Cummins turbo diesel engines with TwinDisc transmissions coupled to Hamilton HJ292 water-jets.

Moose Boats delivered a new M1-44 Catamaran Patrol Boat to Bridgeport Police Department on Long Island Sound. The new Moose Boats M3 mono-hull is a smaller, more nimble alternative to our catamaran models. The M3 can be powered with a variety of propulsion options and can accommodate up to 900hp.

Moose Boats Delivers M2-35 Patrol Boats
Moose Boats, a boat designer and manufacturer in the San Francisco Bay Area, has delivered the first two M2-35 Patrol Boats on its existing eight boat contract signed in September 2009. Moose Boats has constructed and delivered 28 patrol boats for the U.S. Navy under five separate contracts. The M2-35 boats will be deployed for harbor security in Norfolk Va. and used to detect, identify, warn, disable or defeat potential threats in the vicinity of vulnerable U.S. Naval assets.
