Kongsberg Wins Navy Mine Hunting Contract
Kongsberg Maritime AS (KM) and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS (KDA) signed a contract for the new Finnish Navy (FN) Mine Hunting Vessel program. The contract has a value of $19.1m and includes HUGIN 1000 MR, EM 710 and HiPAP 500, three of each. KDA acts as an integrator of all hydroacoustic products into the tactical system (C2) delivered by Atlas Electronics, Germany. Intermarine, Italy is the shipbuilder and the prime contractor. The first ship is planned to be delivered to the FN in 2010.
Kongsberg Maritime Signs Deal For Advanced Subsea Systems
Kongsberg Maritime has signed a contract with the shipyard Alcock Ashdown Ltd. of Gujarat, India, for advanced subsea systems valued at approximately $58.6m. The equipment will be installed on six new surveying vessels that India's National Hydrographic Office has ordered from the shipyard. HUGIN was developed through collaboration between the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment, the Royal Norwegian Navy, Statoil and Kongsberg Maritime.

Kongsberg Maritime has been awarded a $3.2m contract to provide an EM 122 1ºx 1º multibeam hydrographic echo sounder and one 3º SBP 120 sub bottom profiler to the University of Stockholm and the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
