JRC Delivers 15,000th Tornado Radar
Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (JRC) delivered its 15,000th Tornado radar from the Mitaka factory in Tokyo, Japan. Found in the JMA-5200 through to the JMA-9100 series, this new capability allowed the radars to perform the complex tasks associated with the company’s other in-house developed technologies, Constaview and Target Enhancement Function (TEF). JRC’s Constaview allows full processing of data within milliseconds, generating a smooth and continuous (radar) image rotation.
JRC Releases JUE-500 FleetBroadband
The JUE-500 FleetBroadband is the latest-generation maritime communication solution from JRC. FleetBroadband was designed to provide constant, simultaneous access to voice and high-speed data, at speeds up to 432kbps and streaming IP data rate of up to 256kbps. An optional interface unit is available, extending the feature set to include extra telephone lines, LAN ports and access to the JRC Remote Maintenance System.
JRC Receives Samsung-Q Mark Gold Award
Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI), a shipbuilding company from Korea, has awarded Japan Radio Company (JRC), the Samsung-Q Mark Gold award. In 2011 JRC was chosen as a manufacturer of radio & navigation equipment of the highest quality. In 2002 SHI started this program to achieve the highest rate of customer satisfaction. Since the start of the program, JRC has received consecutively in 2002, 2005 and 2008 the Samsung-Q Mark Silver award and this year received the highest Samsung-Q Mark Gold award.
