Höegh Autoliners ordered from Kongsberg Digital a K-Sim Navigation and K-Sim Engine simulator models, specifically designed for training crew on environmentally friendly Höegh's Aurora Class vessels.Höegh’s new vessels will be the largest and most environmentally friendly Pure Car and Truck Carriers ever built and will accelerate their decarbonization efforts and set a new standard for more sustainable deep-sea transportation.
Höegh Autoliners to Deploy Marlink Hybrid Network
Marlink said it will deploy its guaranteed bandwidth hybrid network solutions to the Höegh Autoliners fleet. Already a customer using remote IT service, support and maintenance from Marlink, Höegh Autoliners will adopt Marlink’s hybrid network solutions, blending high throughput VSAT with L-band backup and 4G/5G services. The managed network solution also includes Marlink’s Unified Threat Management (UTM) cyber security service.

Salvors Reduce Hoegh Osaka’s List
Salvage work continues at the site of car carrier Hoegh Osaka, the U.K. Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) said, reporting that salvors have reduced the vessel’s list from its original 52 degrees to 39 degrees on the evening of Monday, January 19.
