Olympics-Sailing-Wind writes script for finely poised finales

The finals of three Olympic sailing races will be tense due to the Mediterranean wind. Both the women's and men's medal race in the dinghy class have been pushed to Wednesday when the officials also hope to finish the mixed multihulls and dinghies. On Tuesday some racing was possible.

The women's final of windsurfing and the men's final were held on Thursday. Emma Wilson from Britain and Grae Moriss, an Australian, both secured Olympic medals. However the sailing medal race was postponed because two attempts to decide the men's skiff were abandoned.
