Yemen's Houthis announced on Sunday that two civilian ships and an American destroyer were attacked in the Red Sea as well as in the Arabian Sea. This was their latest attempt to disrupt shipping, which they claim is in support of Palestinians in Gaza.

Yahya Saree, the Houthi spokesperson for the military, stated in a statement that the militant group had fired ballistic missiles on the American destroyer. He also said that naval missiles were fired at a vessel called Captain Paris and drones were launched at a Happy Condor. It is not known if any of the targets have been hit.
