UKMTO reports that the vessel and crew are safe following an incident southwest of Yemen’s Al Mukha.

United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations said that on Sunday, it received a report about an incident which occurred 13 nautical miles southwest from Yemen's Al Mukha. However, the vessel and crew were in good health.

A UKMTO note stated that a merchant ship reported 12 small craft approaching it. The small craft remained near the vessel for an hour, before departing the area.

The advisory note stated that the vessel and crew are safe and the vessel will be proceeding to the next port of dock.

Yemen's Iran aligned Houthi Group has launched drone and missile attacks in shipping lanes in November. The group claims to be acting in solidarity with Palestinians during Israel's Gaza war.
