UK maritime agency reports that a vessel off the coast of Yemen reported a missile hitting nearby sea.
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations said that a vessel located 60 nautical miles south of Yemen's Aden reported a missile splashing in the water within its proximity on Monday.
UKMTO said that both the vessel and crew were in safety.
UKMTO reported that the same vessel, which was 25 nautical miles west from Yemen's Mokha at the time, had seen a missile splash into the water nearby while it was in the Red Sea.
Houthi militants from Yemen, who are allied with Iran, have been attacking commercial ships in the Red Sea since more than a decade to try and enforce a naval blocade against Israel. They claim to be acting in solidarity to Palestinians during Israel's war in Gaza. (Reporting and editing by Mark Potter.)
