Turkey receives offers for 18,000 T of sunflower oil, traders report
Traders said that the lowest price in Turkey's tender by TMO, Turkey's grain board, to buy about 18,000 tons of crude sunflower oil, was $1,209 per metric ton, c&f.
They said that the offer is believed to have come from the company Yayla, for 6,000 tons of cargo to be delivered to the port at Tekirdag.
Price negotiations are ongoing and preliminary results will be announced later today. Imports or supplies that are already in Turkey may be offered.
The delivery is requested between April 2 and 21 at the ports of Iskenderun/Mersin and Tekirdag.
The reports reflect the assessments of traders, and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later. Michael Hogan is reporting.
