Tunisia receives offers for 75,000 T of soft wheat tender, traders report

Posted to Maritime Reporter on April 17, 2025

European traders reported that the lowest price offered by Tunisia's grain agency in its international tender on Thursday for about 75,000 tons of soft wheat cost and freight included was $262.91 per ton.

No purchase has been made yet, but offers are still being evaluated. If the conditions are not attractive, then it is unlikely that the lowest offer will be accepted.

Cargill, a trading company, is believed to be the one who made the lowest offer for 25,000 tonnes of optional-origin Wheat. Cargill made the second lowest offer at $263.91 for 25,000 tonnes, also by Cargill.

The reports reflect the opinions of traders, and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later.

Shipping was requested between 20 May and 30 June depending on the origin provided. Michael Hogan reports.
