Posted to Maritime Reporter on March 13, 2025

European traders reported that Tunisia's grain agency purchased approximately 100,000 metric tonnes of soft wheat at an international tender held on Thursday.

Traders said that the lowest price for 25,000 tons of 25,000 tonnes sold by Casillo was $268.67 per ton, including cost and freight.

Viterra sold two other consignments of 25,000 tons, each at $268.79 per ton c&f.

Bulgarian trading house Buildcom sold another 25,000 tons at $269.77 per ton c&f.

Wheat can come from a variety of origins.

The reports reflect the opinions of traders, and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later.

The wheat was to be shipped between April 10 and 25 depending on the origin provided. (Reporting and editing by Tomaszjanowski, Tomasz Hogan)
