Tidebound, Gaimin and Xtreme continue their journey at PGL 3

Team Tidebound won on Tuesday, Gaimin Gladiators, and Xtreme Gaming also did to secure their berths for the PGL Wallachia 3, Romania playoffs.

The three winners improved their record to 3-1 during the group stage. Team Liquid, Team Spirit and the other two teams had already secured their playoff spots by winning three out of three group matches.

Team Tidebound defeated Team Falcons 2-0. Gaimin Gladiators swept Aurora Gaming 2-0. Xtreme Gaming overcame Tundra Esports 2-1 after coming from behind.

HEROIC defeated Wildcard 2-0, and Natus Vincere beat AVULUS 2-0.

The $1 million Dota 2 event began last weekend, and will continue through Sunday. The group stage is composed of five rounds, using a modified Swiss system. Only the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs.

The playoffs consist of double elimination. The playoffs are all best-of-3 matches, except for the Grand Final which is best of five. The winning team will receive $300,000.

Team Tidebound beat Team Falcons in green twice, each time within 32 minutes. Guo "shiro", a Chinese player, led Team Tidebound in kill-death ratios with an average of 9.0/0.0/8.5. Oliver "skiter", a Slovakian, posted a ratio of 2.5/4.5/1.5 for Team Falcons.

Gaimin Gladiators won a game on green in 30 minutes and 40 minutes against Aurora Gaming. Alimzhan Islambekov, from Kazakhstan, finished with 10.0/1.5/11.0 points for Gaimin Gladiators. Artem "lorenof Melnick" of Ukraine finished with a score of 5.0/3.5/4.0 at Aurora Gaming.

Xtreme Gaming won the following two maps in 66 and 42 minutes, respectively. Tundra Esports had opened with a win of 35 minutes on red. Wang "Ame", a Chinese player, logged a 12.3/5.3/12.7 ratio K-D. Bozhidar "bzm", a Bulgarian, registered a K-D ratio of 6.7/4.3/9.0 for Tundra Esports.

Yellow Submarine won in 40 minutes on red after Nigma Galaxy had claimed the 32-minute win. They also won in 61 minutes on green. Maxim "reibl", a Russian, was the star of Yellow Submarine with 7.3/4.3/13.3. Malaysian Daniel "Ghost Chan" finished with 9.3/5.0/7.3.

HEROIC defeated Wildcard after 62 minutes of red play and 36 minutes of green play, behind Yuma "Yuma Langlet" from Nicaragua who scored 14.5/4.0/11.5. Francis "RCY Fundemera" amassed a ratio of 9.0/3.5/13.5 for Wildcard.

Natus Vincere defeated AVULUS after 39 minutes of green play and 62 minutes of red play. Natus Vincere's Sukhbat Otgondavaa, a Mongolian named Sukhbat Otgondavaa "sanctity", had a K-D-15.0 ratio of 18.5/2.5/15.0. Belarus' Aliaksei "Smiling Knight" Svirydau recorded a 6.5/5.0/6.5 K-D-A ratio for AVULUS.
