The Russian state news agency TASS reported that a submarine of the Pacific Fleet of Russia conducted drills on the Sea of Japan. It launched cruise missiles against sea and coastal targets.
"During an exercise scheduled, the diesel-electric sub Ufa from the Pacific Fleet fired Kalibr cruise rockets on sea and coastal targets in the waters of the? "Japan," TASS cited a Russian defense ministry statement.
The ministry stated that all mock targets were struck during the exercises, and the firing range is more than 1,000 km.
TASS has reported that the Russian Navy will be deploying Ufa in November 2022.
