South Korean mills purchase 90 000 T of wheat from the U.S. and Canada
European traders reported that a group of South Korean mills purchased an estimated 90,000.00 metric tons milling wheat from the United States of America and Canada on Wednesday in an international auction.
They said that the purchase included 50,000 tons of grain from the United States, believed to be sold by United Grain Corporation, and 40,000 tonnes from Canada, said to be sold by Cargill.
Initially, the tender sought 35,000 tonnes from Canada. The U.S. Wheat was to be shipped between September 15 and October 15, while the Canadian wheat would be delivered between Sept. 1-30.
