Russia claims to have shot down two Ukrainian drones in the Black Sea
The Russian Defence Ministry said that Russian units had destroyed nine Ukrainian drones over night, including two in the Black Sea.
On Tuesday, the United States and Russia reached separate agreements to stop their airstrikes over the Black Sea as well as against each other's targets in energy. Washington agreed to press for some lifting of sanctions against Moscow.
The Black Sea agreements were not yet in force. The drones' aim was not immediately known, nor were they flying just over the Black Sea.
The Russian Ministry of Defence does not report how many drones Ukraine has launched, but only how many were destroyed. The Russian defence ministry never mentions potential damage, and there are no reports immediately of strikes on Black Sea or Energy targets.
Officials from Ukraine have not yet commented.
Vyacheslav Gladov, the Belgorod region governor, confirmed that a drone attack by Ukraine overnight caused minor damage to an apartment building and injured one civilian.
Gladkov, in a Telegram post, said that the person had been hospitalised for head injuries.
