Posted to Maritime Reporter on October 16, 2024

QatarEnergy lowered the term price of al-Shaheen loading crude oil in December, according to trade sources on Wednesday. The company was following spot market prices this month.

They said that the December term price had been set at $1.93 per barrel, according to Dubai quotes. This is 16 cents less than the previous month's $2.09 per barrel.

QatarEnergy sold to TotalEnergies Aramco Trading, Exxon Mobil and Aramco Trading three cargoes for premiums between $1.53 to $1.96 per barrel, according to the sources. The cargoes will be loaded on December 1-2, 26–27 and 27–28.

Sources said that QatarEnergy also sold crude oil from Qatar Land to Vitol for a premium of 80 to 90 cents per barrel over Dubai prices. Reporting by Florence Tan in Singapore and Siyi Liu. Jane Merriman edited the article.
