On a wet day one, the first golds from Paris 2024 were won. China took the lead on the medal table and France was the first to win gold.

FIRST GOLDS

China won the first two golds, the 10-metre mixed team air rifle event on the shooting range as well as the 3-metre springboard diving synchronised.
