NFL owner's $360M superyacht looms over Super Bowl LIX
The 122-meter Kismet superyacht towers over the steamboats scattered along the Mississippi River at New Orleans.
For those of us with a difficult time converting metric measurements, that's 400 feet - 40 more than the length of a football field.
The Kismet, which was bought by Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shan Khan last year for $360 million and costs $36 millions per year to maintain, is reported to have cost him $360 million.
Khan has a networth of over $13 billion. This fortune is derived from his 1980 purchase of the car parts company Flex-N-Gate. He bought the Jaguars for $770m in 2012. He also owns Premier League team Fulham.
The yacht has nine cabins, and can accommodate up to 12 guests. This does not include the captain or 36 crew members. The yacht also features four fireplaces and three pools. It has a helipad, basketball court, Turkish bath, Turkish sauna, Turkish bath chamber, Turkish massage, Turkish bath, Turkish steam room, Turkish shower, Turkish bathtub, Turkish spa, Turkish bath, Turkish bathroom, Turkish bath, Turkish steam room, Turkish sauna, Turkish tub, Turkish hammam, Turkish hammam, Turkish hammam, Turkish hammam, Turkish hammam, Turkish hamma, Turkish hammam, Turkish Bath, Turkish, Turkish, Turkish, Turkish, as well as other amenities
The six-deck Kismet's top towers over Woldenberg park, where the yacht is docked in this week only a few blocks from the French Quarter. It dwarfs the 90-meter yacht of Atlanta Falcons' owner Arthur Blank who has also arrived in New Orleans to watch Super Bowl LIV this Sunday.
The superyacht can be chartered at a price of $3 million per week, plus expenses.
