New Zealand wins second America's Cup Race to Take a 2-0 Lead
New Zealand defeated Britain in the second America's Cup race on Saturday, in a sea battle that was at times thrilling between the giant foiling AC75 yachts.
New Zealand's victory in the light Mediterranean winds, and the lumpy seas near the coast of Barcelona, brought the score to 2-0 for the first-to-7 contest.
In the final stages of the race, British coach Rob Wilson stated: "We're waiting for them make a mistake here."
Wilson commented that New Zealand's advantage in sailing against the wind was probably a "small edge". He added that the race was "tight". (Reporting and editing by Ken Ferris; Alexander Smith)
