Jordanian traders report that the country has issued a tender for up to 120,000 tons of wheat.
The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from any origin, European traders reported on Wednesday.
The deadline for submitting price offers to the tender is April 15th.
The traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan's previous tender of 120,000 tons wheat Tuesday, which Jordan bought 60,000 tons.
The new tender seeks to ship in combinations of 50,000-60,000-ton consignments. Combinations of shipments are possible between July 1-15. July 16-31. August 1-15. and August 16-30.
On Wednesday, a separate tender for animal feed barley up to 120,000 tonnes from Jordan also closes. (Reporting and editing by Michael Hogan)
