European traders reported on Thursday that Jordan's state grain buyer had issued an international tender for the purchase of up to 120,000 tons of animal feed barley.

Price offers must be submitted by Jan. 29, 2019.

Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan's previous tender of 120,000 tons barley for which it paid about 100,000 tons on Wednesday.

The new tender seeks to ship in combinations of consignments between 50,000 and 60 000 tons from April 1-15, 16-30 April and 1-15 May.

Jordan also announced a separate tender for the purchase of up to 120,000 tonnes of milling grain. Offers are due by Jan. 28. Michael Hogan, reporting; David Goodman, editing
