European traders reported on Thursday that Jordan's state grain buyer had issued an international tender for the purchase of up to 120,000 tons of animal feed barley.

The deadline to submit price bids in the tender is December 11.

Jordan's failure to purchase 120,000 tons barley in its previous tender on Wednesday had led to a new announcement.

The tender seeks to ship a combination of 50,000-60,000 ton consignments between January 1-15, January 16-31 and February 1-14, as well as Feb. 15-28, in 2025.

The same shipping periods are listed as those in the Wednesday's bid.

Jordan has also released a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons wheat, which closes on December 10. (Reporting and editing by Susan Fenton, Michael Hogan)
