European traders reported on Thursday that Jordan's state grain buyer had issued an international tender for the purchase of up to 120,000 tons of animal feed barley.

The deadline to submit price bids in the tender is December 4.

Jordan's failure to purchase 120,000 tons barley in its previous tender on Wednesday had led to a new announcement.

The tender seeks to ship 50,000-60,000 tons of cargo in 2025, for the dates Jan. 1-15; Jan. 16-31; Feb. 1-14; and Feb. 15-2025.

The same shipping periods are listed as those in the Wednesday's bid.

Jordan has also released a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons wheat, which closes on December 3. (Reporting and editing by Jason Neely, Michael Hogan)
